About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Legal Sales Lead who will be responsible for supporting WeWork’s PACIFIC sales organization with respect to (A) the development, implementation and maintenance of legal documentation relating to WeWork’s sales transactions, (B) the training of sales team members on guardrails, guidelines, policies, playbooks and processes and (C) to act as a main point of contact for sales team members in relation to the triage and escalation of legal matters relating to WeWork’s sales transactions.
In This Role, You Will
Act as a key transactions partner to the Portfolio Sales, Transaction Management, Accounts and Real Estate Advisory teams
Act as a point of contact for escalations of legal matters and out-of-policy / out-of-guardrail requests
Facilitate the effective communication of WeWork’s contract terms and external policies in sales transactions
Provide advice and training to the sales organisation to
Promote a deeper understanding of WeWork’s contract terms, guardrails, guidelines, policies and processes insofar as they related to sales transactions; and
Support the implementation of best practices with respect to negotiations of sales transactions
Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of sales transactions contracts, including sales/legal playbooks and other templates
Triage disputes raised by customers and escalate legal disputes to the relevant stakeholders
About You
2-5 years experience in sales contract drafting and negotiations and transaction management
Called to the bar / qualified in an Asia-Pacific jurisdiction
Experience in the real estate industry or real estate transactions (preferred but not required)
Law firm training combined with in-house experience preferred (preferred but not required)
Able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, entrepreneurial environment
Independent self-starter, responsible, accountable and result-driven
Excellent drafting, proofreading, organization and communication skills
Comfortable with communicating complex concepts to non-legally trained team-members
Ability to help develop effective and practical sales strategies, drive projects and influence others positively
Detail oriented and very organized
English fluency is a must.
