Legal Assistant (International Data Protection and Privacy Team)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented legal assistant to join our corporate data privacy team in either Hong Kong or Singapore. As a legal assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our team of lawyers in all aspects of data privacy law.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented legal assistant to join our corporate data privacy team in either Hong Kong or Singapore. As a legal assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our team of lawyers in all aspects of data privacy law.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting research on data privacy laws and regulations in Hong Kong or Singapore
- Assisting with the drafting and review of legal documents, including contracts, policies, and procedures related to data protection and privacy
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to data privacy compliance
- Provide support to other members of Tencent International Privacy and Data Protection Department
- Provide general legal support and assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned from time to time
- Coordinate with external counsels and internal counterparts to ensure delivery of top-quality legal service to our internal clients
- A bachelor's degree in law
- Strong interest in global data privacy law
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- CIPP certifications are preferred, but not essential
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin), in order to communicate with various stakeholders in headquarters
