Keen to join the Data Centre Industry or already in the Industry? Singtel, an established and the leading operator of high-quality Data Centres in Singapore is on the lookout for new talents to join the team as we seek to grow our Data Centres portfolio in Singapore and regionally. This role will also have opportunities to work on enterprise platforms, satellites, and submarine cables.

Make an Impact by

  • Provide legal advice and draft/review a wide variety of contracts, with a particular focus on Singtel’s Digital InfraCo businesses. In relation to the data center business, such contracts include data center sale contracts, with potential to expand to take on business projects and the other aspects of the business such as partnerships, construction, operations, and maintenance. In relation to the digital enterprise platform, such contracts include platform sales agreements, licensing agreements, services and reseller agreements, customer agreement including responding to requests for proposals.
  • Provide accurate and prompt legal advice to the business, acting always in a pro-active, commercial, and pragmatic manner. Liaising with relevant internal stakeholders promptly.
  • Corporate secretarial and/or M&A experience will be a plus.
  • Responsible for putting in place adequate legal governance policies/processes in conjunction with key stakeholders, work collaboratively with the business to ensure internal policy and corporate governance is adhered to.
  • Possess excellent client relationship skills with keen interest in learning and understanding the business, its technical and operational aspects. In-house experience is a plus.
  • Time management to cope with competing deadlines from different business stakeholders.

Skills For Success

  • Law degree (Singapore or other recognized law school)
  • Minimum 6-8 of relevant working years
  • Problem solver, good communication skills
  • Willing to work collaboratively within a team to meet business needs
  • Contract negotiation, contract policy review and implementation
  • Construction law, especially SIA and FIDIC contract forms
  • Knowledge on Data center colocation services and leases
  • Platform-as-a-service
