Provide professional and cost effective contract solutions that meet legitimate business needs
Review, draft and negotiate material terms and conditions of various types of products and service agreements with external customers and partners in different jurisdictions across the South East Asia and Oceania regions
Report to the Overseas Legal Team located in our global headquarter in Seoul
Work closely with the company’s sales, finance and management teams to structure contracts that are consistent with the company’s strategic business objectives
b) Compliance
Develop, implement and maintain overall compliance policies and procedures focusing on laws and regulations relevant to the ICT sector
Monitor the compliance activities of the company, proactively advising on non-compliance risk, to ensure that each department is in compliance with all applicable domestic and international laws and regulations
Conduct internal audits, analyze the outcome of such audits and report to the Compliance Team located in our global headquarter in Seoul
Conduct regular in-house compliance training, develop and implement training programs that promote employee understanding of compliance policies and procedures
Requirements:
Degree in Law with at least 3 years PQE (admitted to the Supreme Court of Singapore as an advocate and solicitor)
Relevant experience at a law firm or as a corporate counsel focusing on ICT contract drafting, negotiation and compliance issues
Prior experience working in MNCs and in the ICT sector will be an advantage
Possess strong contract negotiation and drafting skills
Possess strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
