The Richemont APAC Legal Team is responsible for all APAC legal, compliance and corporate affairs matters, covering all Maisons that are active in the 11 markets in the region.
Main purpose
The Legal Counsel, a new role created to be based in Singapore, will provide support to the Senior Legal Counsel - Asia Pacific on legal matters arising in the SEA sub-region
Key Responsibilities:
Contract management
Negotiate, draft and review business and legal contracts and documents e.g. leasing, marketing/PR/event, CRM, renovation, finance, HR, etc.
Template management
Legal and regulatory compliance advice on business and operational matters, e.g. customer protection, employment, health & safety, trade compliance
Policies, procedures and training
Support the APAC Legal Team in developing, implementing and training on policies and procedures on relevant legal and compliance topics
General legal support
External counsel management
Research and legal updates monitoring
Coordination of Regional / Group Legal projects
Qualifications:
Minimum LLB / equivalent degree from a reputable university
Qualified lawyer (preferably dual qualifications) with at least 6 years PQE
Commercial / corporate lawyer with experience from international law firms and/or MNC
Good exposure with the practices/laws in SEA (and preferably APAC)
Strong technical and communications skills
Candidates with experience in retail / FMCG / real estate preferred
Strong commercial acumen, creative and solutions-orientated

Excellent organizational, analytical planning and interpersonal skills
Strong communicator, strategic thinker
