The Legal team is responsible for managing the legal affairs of the company, including providing legal counsel across the organization, handling disputes, and creating and enforcing intellectual property.

Bachelor’s degree, law degree from accredited law school

We are on the hunt for a senior Digital Health MedTech Lawyer who has broad experience in consumer facing health products and services.
- Expertise in consumer facing digital services and products
- Expertise in complex and emergent regulatory requirements, comfortable “navigating the grey”
- Expertise in regulatory environments applicable to therapeutic goods, diagnosis and treatment of disease states
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts including licensing, cloud-based, platform and software as a service, technology agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Advising on data analytics, digital health, and projects involving data processing, licensing, biometrics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
- Strong working knowledge of biometrics legislation, GDPR and other privacy laws; data security; use of de-identified data and other data issues applicable to data use to drive excellent healthcare.
- Tracking latest laws and regulations and proactively determining opportunity or impact on ResMed's digital health strategy and business models.
- Advising on innovative go to market strategies including novel pathways to reach patients in non-traditional ways

Required:
Bachelor’s degree, law degree from accredited law school
Preferred:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in technology related businesses, technology agreements, digital health software, privacy and healthcare law.
- Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems, has in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
