Legal Counsel

Parcel Perform is currently looking for an experienced and business minded Legal Counsel in our Singapore office to help build our global legal function and work closely with our internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be energized by a wide array of legal issues and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high growth work environment in the technology industry.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As our Legal Counsel, you will be reporting directly to our General Counsel and be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted partner to support the development and implementation of the company's overall legal strategy, continuously improve legal processes and policies across all offices, including Singapore, Germany, Vietnam and the United States.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including but not limited to service agreements, NDAs, licensing agreements and other technology agreements.
• Support sales/business teams with opportunities.
• Provide legal advice on regulatory, compliance and corporate matters, and assist with corporate secretarial tasks.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of legislations and identify any potential red flag risk areas relevant to the business.
• Build strong relationships and provide legal advice to key stakeholders across different functions including Sales, Marketing, Product, HR and Finance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Admitted to practice in a common law jurisdiction
• 5+ years of PQE with relevant legal work experience as an in-house legal counsel
• Demonstrated contract drafting experience
• Strong interest in the technology or software industry, ideally with prior-experience working in e-commerce, logistic tech or high-growth tech companies.
• Knowledge of Data Privacy regulations is a must, IAPP certification will be a plus
• Exposure to the U.S. regulations will be advantageous.
• Proactive and energetic work attitude, able to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically to solve legal challenges with attention to detail
