Job Description
Responsibilities
- Have extensive experience in corporate and litigation, reviewing IT professional services, customer and vendor contracts
- Identify legal issues relating to business transactions or operations; provide legal analysis and propose pragmatic solutions
- Independently work with different stakeholders e.g. business segment, sales, delivery, finance, operations, HR and drive the negotiations of contracts both internally and with third parties
- Resolve routine legal matters with limited supervision
- Handle disputes, litigations or arbitrations collaborating with external law firms
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements
- Represent the company externally to customers, suppliers, competitors or government agencies; resolve legal issues using negotiation skills and legal expertise
- Advise senior management of significant legal matters in a timely manner
- Bachelor's Law degree from a recognised university
- Qualified lawyer
- 3-5 years PQE, deally in a law firm and in-house role
- Experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating and advising on technology contracts
- Strong contract negotiation, review and drafting skills
- A proven track record of communicating effectively at all levels to both legal and business professionals
- Proactive problem solver and exceptional team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
