Job Summary
The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for all legal and compliance matters of Ingersoll Rand in South East Asia and Australasia and providing legal support for the company’s bus iness of multiple SBUs in the assigned region.

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for all legal and compliance matters of Ingersoll Rand in South East Asia and Australasia and providing legal support for the company’s bus iness of multiple SBUs in the assigned region.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Provide advice, guidance and support to the business on all legal matters, including corporate, commercial, operation, intellectual property, and regulatory
- Draft, review and support for negotiation of sales/ procurement contracts and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations in the assigned region, and advise the business and internal functions on the implications of such laws and regulations
- Take care of ethics compliance matters in the assigned region, including transaction partner due diligence, compliance review, investigation, etc.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Coordinate to prepare and provide legal and compliance trainings to business and functions
- Legal support for disputes resolution and litigation matters
- Manage and coordinate external counsels as needed
- Other matters and projects assigned by the line manager.
- University degree or above with a major in law and a bachelor of law degree from a reputable law school. Admission to practice law in Singapore
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience , preferably in a multinational corporation or reputable law firm
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law, as well as regulatory and compliance issues
- Excellent research, drafting and negotiation skills. Business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to conceptualize and articulate pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions to complex legal and business challenges
- Team player and ability to work independently under pressure
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
