Our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality and convenient for everyone. We're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.
What You’ll Do
This role is based in our Singapore office location. We believe that people do their best work when they are together. As a company, we’re in the marketplace of ideas and innovation. When you’re constantly innovating, changing how an industry works, inventing new products and processes - and we are doing all these things - we believe we’re better as a team in-person. What You’ll Do
- Handle a variety of assigned legal matters or projects independently, ranging from basic to modern complexity, or assist more senior lawyers in handling more complex cases.
- Demonstrate growing expertise in specific areas of law while conducting research, analysis, and interpretation of proposed and existing laws, statutes, and regulations. Identify, evaluate, and address legal risk issues.
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and approve legal contracts, letters of agreement, policies, and other relevant documents related to trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
- Advocate for an organization in litigation, arbitration, mediation, or other disputes with courts, government agencies, or legal authorities.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex legal matters, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Coach, review, and delegate work to the team, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- 4-7 years of legal experience.
- Juris Doctor degree and an active membership in a state/country bar.
- Prior experience in a law firm and/or in-house setting, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated self-starting abilities, with a knack for multitasking and problem-solving.
- Exceptional organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a rapidly expanding global startup environment.
- Quick learning aptitude and a willingness to assist with various legal operations tasks.
