Junior Legal Counsel

• Draft, review, and negotiate key legal contracts to achieve business objectives, minimize risk and ensure compliance with BYD Group Company policies, laws, and regulations;
• Follow BYD Group Company legal management principals to establish/carry out local legal management system, including contract/dispute/litigation management, risk and compliance management;
• Advise on a wide variety of legal issues, including but not limited to distribution/marketing/product liabilities etc;
• Provide litigation assessment counseling and risk mitigation advice to handle disputes and litigation in Singapore;
• Act as a business partner to support the achievement of the organization business goals and strategies and , and assist BYD Group legal team to manage legal compliance work ;
• Perform other related duties as assigned, based on the business need.

• Passed Singapore Bar Exam and have solid knowledge of the laws of Singapore, experienced in the laws relating to automotive industry will be a plus.
• 1-3 years experience in a top tier law firm or multinational company.
• Good communication skill in Mandarin and English (in order to coordinate with HQ staff from China)
• Efficient work habits and be able to identify and resolve problems on a timely basis.
• Desire to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
