Shape and influence the strategic direction and structure of banking and finance transactions, including those with international dimensions and security considerations.
Provide pragmatic and legally robust guidance to business units spanning multiple global jurisdictions, offering insights into operational aspects of banking and finance frameworks.
Analyze and assess the legal implications of banking and finance documents, encompassing bilateral, ISDA, trade, and syndicated facilities across various regions within the group, with a focus on risk mitigation.
When external legal representation is required, offer well-defined instructions for pertinent transactions and supervise the execution of services provided by external law firms.
Monitor and appraise the performance of external legal firms, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives while maximizing value from the associated fees.
Experience Requirements
Qualified lawyer in common law jurisdiction.
Min 7 years of PQE with banking and finance transaction
Familiar with banking product terms and conditions
Proficient in Bahasa Melayu will be a plus
